Godzilla: Destroy All Monsters Melee Remastered has one DLC: the Digital Deluxe Upgrade. It costs $5.99 and adds two exclusive skins, an extra map and a graphical filter. It does not add new monsters. You can buy it on its own, or get it bundled in the Digital Deluxe Edition for $34.99.
What the Digital Deluxe Upgrade includes
According to the Steam store page, matched by the PlayStation Store:
| Item | Type |
|---|---|
| Burning Millennium Godzilla (2025) | Exclusive skin |
| Mechagodzilla (1974) Black ver. | Exclusive skin |
| Smash Station (The Ring, 2026 Edition) | Additional map |
| Black and white movie filter | Graphical filter |
The upgrade was released on November 3, 2026, the same day as the game. On the Nintendo eShop, the Switch 2 version lists one DLC item, which fits the same single upgrade.
Skins
The remaster's confirmed skins are the two in the Deluxe Upgrade:
- Burning Millennium Godzilla (2025): an alternate look for Godzilla.
- Mechagodzilla (1974) Black ver.: a black version of Mechagodzilla.
Skins change how a monster looks; they are not separate characters on the roster. Mechagodzilla is one of the eight monsters you unlock through research, so check the unlock guide if you have not opened it yet. Whether the skin can be used before Mechagodzilla is unlocked is to be confirmed.
We have not found any source for other skins unlocked through normal play. If more appear, through research projects or future DLC, we will add them here.

Will there be more DLC or new monsters?
Nothing has been announced. Players on the Steam forums are asking for new monsters and wondering about other Pipeworks Godzilla games, but that is speculation, not news. We will update this page if Atari announces anything.
Is the DLC worth it?
It is cosmetic plus one map. If you want the two skins or the Smash Station arena, $5.99 is a small add-on. If you only care about the roster and modes, the standard game already has all 12 monsters and everything else. See price and editions for a full comparison.
